What & what not to do to get the most out of your massage session

There are times in life where you just want to take a break from reality and just relax. Some people take a walk in the park, meditate, do yoga and some people get massaged. I believe that massage is one of the best ways to relax. You get to lay down, maybe get a quick nap in. Also, you get to indulged in the many benefits of massage. I would highly suggest that the next time you want a break, book you a massage. Now to fully get the most out of your massage session. There are some things you need to know and follow. when you do book your massage. Make sure to be on time. It’s it best that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. You might have to use the restroom, or your therapist might want to do a verbal intake with you. You might want to look at the different services they offer. Whatever the case may be. Please arrive on time. If your appointment is at 9am. Don’t arrive at 9am. Your session is supposed to start at 9am. Meaning you are supposed to already be on the table. Please, please, please take a shower and brush your teeth. As a massage therapist we can smell everything. Please do not try to talk on your phone or post on social media during your massage. We need you to relax. Please do not try to help us in lifting any of your extremities (arm, leg, head) if we need your assistance, we will ask you. Once again, we need you to relax. Some places do offer Couple Massages. If you or partner/spouse is insecure. Couple massage is not for you. We are highly trained professionals. We know the pressure points to release tension and massage techniques that can possibly make you fall asleep easily. No need to become upset with your partner/spouse or the therapist. We just simply want you all to enjoy your session and relax. I hope these few tips are helpful and come in handy when booking or getting your next massage.
